Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Bro. Luc Beauliere began sharing interest in music at an early age. He started playing trumpet at six years old, and six months later, he was already composing little tunes for trumpet. However, that promising journey would soon end, due to his health; that is when he switched to piano. Just a few weeks after beginning to take piano lesson, Bro. Beauliere would amazed anyone who heard him play.
However, it wasn't until Bro. Beauliere moved to United States that he would gain success. He enrolled at Palm Beach State College and that led him to compete and win the Florida Community Colleges Jazz piano competition. After graduating from Palm beach State College, he went on to study at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music with a scholarship. In December 2010, Bro. Beauliere graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education.
Bro. Beauliere also studied composition, harmonization, and orchestration with Dr. Allen Webber from PBSC and Dr. Stuart Glazer from FAU. His classical piano teachers include Professor Judith Burganger (FAU) , Leonid Treer (FAU), Robert Jones (PBSC), Dr. Greg Taylor (UM); his jazz piano teachers include Brad Keller (PBSC), Felix Gomez (UM), Doug Bickel (UM), and David Hammer (FAU).
As a musician and recording artist, Bro. Beauliere has performed with several well-known musicians and bands, including John Faddis, Nestor Torres, Slide Hampton, UM Bebop ensemble, Tuesday Nite Big Band, to name a few; and on July 2011, he released his first album "Give Thanks". As a composer, he has composed more than 20 works. As a music educator, he taught music classes in several schools around the Palm Beach area: Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Emerald Cove Middle School, etc. Bro. Beauliere is the co-founder and music director of Beauliere Academy of Music.
